I got mine yesterday and sent in the two rebates - The Toshiba rebate link still works - now says good thru May 15th. I am having problems doing the USB sync to my Windows XP machine - here is a good link for solutions to ActiveSync problems - there is a new ActiveSync 3.7 out today from Microsoft fixes some bugs with version 3.6 -

There is a new Microsoft PocketPC2002 Service Pack 3 out but Toshiba doesn't have an update for e330 series yet - Service Pack fixes some bugs and upgrades Media Player to version 8.5

Yea, it took some messing with manual driver installs and stuff to get the driver on there, but then it just worked

Mine already has service pack 3: the new bliss theme and the Media Player 8.5 is how you tell.
Battery pack shows 6hrs and 46 min of batt life remainig, and that's with the light on

I tried PM to staples. They say that they can only match the OD price of 299.99. They wont match the rebate price of 299-100(od rebate) = 199 under any circumstances. I tried in 2 stores but the managers did not budge. I really eny folks who have done PM to staples.

Before, when I went by Circuitcity, they were willing to price match for $199, but they were out.

$199 + tax - $100 toshiba rebate is still quite decent.

Bummer for me. I just tried to PM this at Staples, the guy was real nice and was going to do it... then he told me that I didn't have a store in the area?? I thought I did, but the nearest one is about 2 hours away. :frown: He even asked his super if he could do this for me, but no go. He said he is sending a message to corporate to get a store here! He was going to "authorize" the $200 PM and then I'd email him the pic of the rebate, then I'd have to pick it up in store. Said I wouldn't get any hassle.

Went to 2 OD's today....
At the first one the guy told me "We're sold out, it's kind of weird because we hadn't sold too many before but then last week, all of the sudden, we sold a bunch of 'em." I figured, oh well, the AT effect...

Stopped at the second one on the way home from work....none on the shelf...asked the guy and he said he had one left.....woo hoo, for once I'm not too late!

Ok, here is your problem the extension is #87739 and it is a voice activated system with no human interaction. Just leave them an order number, CC number, store number, amount of the purchase, contact info, address for mailing.

How did you get the hours left for battery? I just got percentage of bettery power.

$299.00 - 10% coupon - $100 MIR - $100 MIR

Although that is a bit tougher to hit now (requires some social engineering)...you're looking at about $100 now. Or less if you happen to be lucky enough to have an in-store coupon.

Now I could browse the web offline and play mp3 and I like the way "transcriber" for the input method. Very easy to use! Can't complain for a $70 PDA (I sent the rebates by delivery confirmation and kept all copies, I will have proof that rebate center receive my letter)

But see sk3tch's post above, he has link for a $100 one. BTW, how did you guys find that $100 rebate, it's not on OD's website? Not like I'm complaining or anything.

OK, take a look at the $50 rebate and the $100 one. They are different offer numbers!! So maybe both can be sent in? They also go to different PO boxes...

This is easier:

Staples is sending out $30 off $150 coupons now for in store use (email coupon). I printed mine out and they accepted it at OD no problem. I think OM has one out now too, but i'm not certain.

$299-$30-$100 MIR-$100 MIR= $70 +tax

I called about this yesterday. The rebate center screwed up and released a $100 rebate for a few days. It was supposed to be a $50 rebate due to OD's pricedrop of the e335, so they pulled the $100 and put a $50 one out. The $100 rebate is valid, but if you send both in, the manager at the rebate center informed me that they would only honor one of them (I'm guessing it would be the $50 too ). So, you can try sending in both, but it's a $50 risk.

I just called the rebate center twice and both times they told me that the $100 rebate was only valid 5/4-5/5. So, if you purchased on 5/6 or later (I did) the $50 rebate is the only rebate they will accept. Sending in both rebates is not a bad option though.
