DEAD: RadioShack -30% Off Coupon

There is a new RadioShack -30% Off Coupon which seems to work on most things but the free shipping for orders above $50 doesnt work after the coupon is applied.

How quick are you guys getting an order cofirmation? I usually get instant automatic email confirmation from other stores, and this is my first order @ radioshack.com. It's been 20 minutes and no email...


(and yes I entered my email address correctly.. I always do remember to print the "Thank you for your order" page and it lists my email addy)

Edit: d'oh! I missed the part where it says it can take up to 24 hours...

Not so much "expired" as "somebody phoned home". I am guessing they pulled the plug when they were hemmoraging cash. I was a bit wary of this since the coupon desc. was sketchy, but it seems the same people who buy Dells to hawk on Ebay went and started ordering the iPods (*multiple* of them). Don't ask me how, it was 'iin store only' when I checked.

So, I think there are going to be a lot of cancellations in the pike. good luck if you did get it through.

I believe what they said the CS reported was: "That coupon was not released through appropriate outlets, so all orders using it will be cancelled." Not sure if that is 100% accurate.

I sure hope they don't cancel my order. RadioShack isn't a big retailer, so they won't honor their own mistakes like say a Dell or Newegg would. I'll cross my fingers.

i bought the mid size LifeWise ionizer. normally $199 and it comes with the compact ionizer which sells for $99 for free. total cost shipped was $160 for 2 ionizers with the 30% coupon. really sweet deal. thanks!

I ordered two Nintendo DS games. I got an email this morning saying that there was a processing error, that my billing address I provided was incorrect (BS). I called Bank of America and made sure that nothing had changed, and sure enough it hadn't. I guess it's Radio Shacks way of cancelling my order.

Well, what I meant, is that Radio Shack probably doesn't care about its customers the way that Dell and Newegg do. Rather than take the loss for their own error, they'd rather just cancel orders. And I found $1.2 billion quite impressive, but I stand by my earlier statement that they don't care what we think. If my order comes, then I will probably buy from RS again. If it doesn't, well then my streak of never purchasing something at a RS will continue. We shall see.

You're right, they honored it. I just got a shipment notice. I retract any derogatory statements toward RS. On top of that, it should be here tomorrow. Like I said, I'm very surprised. I'm very happily surprised, however. :thumbsup: to RS. I hope others faired as well as I did.

Not only did they wipe my order clear of their database, they also removed my RadioShack profile/user account!
