Here's a pic. I don't know the differnece between matte and frosted, see if you can tell. I just know they burn at 12x in the pioneer 108.

As I stated earlier, Got my order on Monday. They are the Ritek G05's matte finish. These are excellent quality DVD-R's. Burned 10 of them already at 8x, with no problems thus far. The surface finish appears to be adhered too very well. Don't forsee any peeling or flaking with these.
IMO the frosted type is the same as what is properly called "matte finish". These are NOT the shiny ones which supposedly maypeel at the edges.

i am getting skipping on high speed burns on these things

even at 8x.

the dye is not very dark on these, like the G04 that i bought.


hmmm

i did by mine at mertline, the dye is uneven in many places, and there are some bubbles in the disks near the spindle....

is the dye dark on the ones from newegg? mine dont have the frosted top...just shiney
