I saw in the SD thread that a couple people said that they ordered overnight and had theirs shipped already? I think maybe they called someone to make sure they would get theirs, but I didn't feel like wading through 2000+ posts in the thread to check for details.

There are other people for sure making up stuff about being canceled and such though, so I have no idea what's actually happening.

I'm much more hopeful that this might actually work today since they haven't all been canceled yet.

I honestly don't really need an external harddrive but for $68 for 1.5TB, I figured I'd be stupid not to try it.

5 years ago I got two Western Digital 120 gig drives for $3 each which boils down to 40gigs/dollar

This is basically 22gigs/dollar which would be the best I've seen since then

1.5TB for under $100? I don't know if I'd ever come close to filling that up, but it'd be a lovely thing just to have.

I am in for one. So far it has not been cancelled and it has a scheduled ship date of today. I'll let you know if mine ships.

I figure, I'd just sell mine or eBay.
