*Dead* Sony Wega 27FS100 -$360 @ Bestbuy

Just picked up Sony Wega 27FS100 @ Bestbuy for $360

Regular price was $500, onsale for $400 and 10% off = $360. Came to $385 with tax.

They still have 4 of them at the San Francisco Bestbuy, 3 other people bought the TV after I bought it. Also they have the 10% off coupon in store.

They also had the Toshiba 24FV42 which is Toshiba 24" flat for $300 after discount

Just note that this is an FS100. It is Sony's entry-level 27" Wega. It might not have the top features like 16:9 stretch mode or 3D comb filter. In a 27" set I highly recommend the Panasonic Tau 27SX12 or SX32 for $449-$479.

I bought a Sony 20FS100 through bestbuy.com about a month ago for $174AR. I can tell that the picture quality is not as good as some of the best Wegas (non-XBRs). It's fine if you are looking to save some cash.

I called 3 numbers @ sony and they didn't know about it. The coupon on FW requires a code number.

They are going to fax it to me on Monday. Just call them and they'll do the same. At f@twallet, they listed an 877 #.

I just called the San Francisco location and they told me their price is $394.99 go figure. They have 10 in stock, I asked if my Bestbuy in Milwaukee could price match them she didn't know. Customer service said that any Bestbuy store will price match / reduce the price that another Bestbuy store is selling same item. Anyways I am going tomorrow to do this. She said if they have a problem to call the San Francisco location and they will tell them : ) For those of you wanting this deal here is San Fran number take it to your local Bestbuy and have them call it if they won't price match. 415-626-9682 I have free long distance on cell phone for those of you wondering why I called San Fran : )

BTW I could not find any kind of rebate on this tv online at Sony or anywhere else.
