*DEAD* South Park - Complete First Season $9.99

I just spoke with a representative about my order which was placed on 11/15, and it's apparently on backorder. Also, it *was* a price mistake, but they are still honoring all orders which were placed during that time. According to the representative, although it may take some time to get them back in stock, they are completely dedicated to filling the order.

I must say, I'm impressed. I'm glad to see they are standing behind their price like that. FYI, MediaPlay is owned by Sam Goody, which in turn, is owned by Best Buy.

That's great that they will stand up to the plate and take one for the team. I processed my order within 30 minutes of seeing the original post. I wonder how far back in line I am to get this thing...

I do not know why CSR's are saying this is a price mistake...I am looking at the printed ad right now. It very clearly says $19.99...Save an additional 10 instantly with the purchase of any TV Boxed DVD Set..South Park (19.99), MASH (29.99), Malcolm In the Middle (29.99), or Friends (59.99). Price shown is before additional $10 discount. South Park should be $9.99. Worst case scenario...$19.99...still a better price than everyone else.

To further verify, we have four B&M in Cincinnati. I called two of them and was told that the price was $9.99 and they had sold out very early in the week. Both stores verified this. I was also told since this was a popular Christmas gift idea...they would most definitely continue to get stock as quick as they can and if I was back ordered on website, I could count on receiveing one just as soon as stock arrived.

Everyone Relax...enjoy the fact that at some point and time you will receive one of these.

South park 1st season on dvd is currently showing up 29.99 now on their site.
My order(statement) total is still 9.99 so I guess I'll wait and see....

I think everyone should just give up and cancel their orders!!!!!!! That way I'll get mine quicker. The sale ended Sat. night....the $29.99 is just reflecting the change in price, your order total should still show $9.99. As of now my credit card has a reduction in available credit of exactly $9.99 (even though I should have been charged tax) and no charge has actually posted. I have an email receipt with an agreed purchase price of $9.99 and after I receive the DVD, if they charge anything more than $9.99 + tax...I'll dispute it.

Alirght guys, thanks to Jeomite, I got in on this deal also. I ordered 2 copies on Friday and although it took me a few tries because of how crappy the website was running, I finally got my order through and made it to the receipt page. I didn't save or print this b/c I was expecting an email confimation, but when I got home, nothing. No confirmation, so I called them up and asked about my order. The guy was very nice, but he couldn't find my order NOR my registration info, but I knew that that had gone through b/c I had gotten an email confirmation on that. I told him that I know I had ordered the set at $9.99 and he told me he would honor that price for me, but I had to wait until the site was back up to order it. I called back on Saturday and Sunday with no luck, so I finally called in yesterday and the girl told me my order number. It turns out my order had gone through, but they were having so much problems with their site that it just didn't show up.

My order status page looks like what TheGoodDoc described and I'm pretty confident my order will go through. If not, I'll just call up that original CSR that said he'd honor the deal for me. Good luck to everyone

I saw a charge on my CC and I was like "WTF, I cancelled that order." I called the MediaPlay and talked to a CSR and sure enough, they all shipped He was like, "Dang, that's a good price...I actually ordered a couple myself"

Yeah, MediaPlay charged my credit card for $9.99 on Nov 19. I check on order status and it says backordered. I hope the website is wrong since most etailers only charge your cedit card when they ship the item out. Atleast thats what Amazon does which I love sinc eyou can modify the order right away...
