Good deal, even at $80. Too bad I don't have any wireless AC devices yet, everything is still wireless n.

Sweet router. Easy set up, handled streaming to a BR player, the smart TV and 2 smart phones at the same time no issues. No dead spots in the entire house now. Shared external HDD and set up print server easy as one could want. I have moved into the new decade finally! Thanks OP.

I have the C8. Great router. Far better range than my Linksys E6400. TP-Link is surprisingly good quality networking gear. Even their switches are excellent, preferable over Trendnet and the other "cheap stuff"

The only nit pick I have against the C8 is, being a white opaque shell, with blue led's, the whole thing lights up whatever room its in. In my case, the bedroom.

With a black router, you can get "light dims" or just use electrical tape over the lights. Not with a white case.

Mine is also a V2. Nice range increase, compared to my netgear wndr3700. The 2.4 channel speed is similar but the 5ghz channel speeds are about 4x.

Planning on to openwrt it soon because I have a netgear wndr3700 asking to be a repeater.

All I can say is I went through 5 V1s of the C7 and don't have it any more. I had really bad WiFi issues with the V1s that TP-Link was able to replicate.

I'm in for another one. Bought one for a present and really regretted not getting one for myself. I really hope the ones coming from Newegg are V2..
I've also got a netgear wndr3700 so I'm glad this is definitely an upgrade over it.

iirc They will issue an RMA if you get a v1. Just got mine from Amazon for the same price a couple weeks ago and have no complaints.
