FPSguy, thanks for the heads-up. I've heard the game is boring, but I need something new and all I play now and until Doom3 is UT2003 online.
At $20 it's probably worth it.
BTW, is Doom3 gonna be an online game?
I can't imagine a game having longevity without online play.

Cuz it doesn't compare with PC games, but is decent for console. You see that with lots of games that hit PC and console at the same time.

there is no multiplayer in unreal 2. Its also a very short game. If you are a fan of fps games, i would wait for the bargain bin. NOLF2 is much more enjoyable as a game, has a multi and coop mode at a cheaper price. If you are looking for something to show off your pimp rig and vid card, unreal 2 would fit the bill, but beyond that....

its not thread crapping if you are helping peeps make an informed decision. Sure, its just my opinion as to the quality of the game, but stating lack of mulitplay and length of game are important considerations for a $30 game and potentially a rebate hassle.

I had the deal locked, but just canceled.
It was an impulse anyway.

Why cancel?
Well, I just remembered that I only continue to play UT2003 because of it's multiplayer play. If it weren't for the online feature, I wouldn't play it anymore.

For now on, only multiplayer (fps) games for me.
