I just placed an order with Dell for 3 of these guys. I plan to BVG to Techonweb. $250 for one of these after BVG is awesome!! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

BTW.. I called AMEX's BVG and the CSR did confirm that online price matching is going away May 1st. I guess my Optima BVG is going away as well at the end of the month, so I need to make the most of it. Now.. Does anyone have any hot digital camera buys?

You just missed out on a great deal for a nikon coolpix 4500 for a little over 100 after rebate/bvg

just try making your own deal at dell.. look for a camera with a large rebate.. like the nikons.. throw in a coupon or discount.. then bvg it to whatever shady vender you can find.. you are bound to figure out a hotdeal using that formula..

I just called the amex BVG line and asked if they raised the price later, would I still get my discount. They said it doesn't matter as long as I have a printout.

So I just print out the page from technoweb with the box that says your price/you save etc. and fax it too AMEX. when they ask me to?

I've down store PM but I never used BVG. Now that everyone says it ends 5/1/03 for online I might as well use it.

Yes. Or mail it in. That's how I've been able to do it before.

Yes.. Print the page off now from techonweb showing the current price. Then order at Dell.com. Call AMEX BVG at 1-800-557-8217 and file a claim for your purchase. They will assign you a case number and give you either a mailing address or a fax number to submit a copy of the printed off web page for the deal along with your purchase receipt from Dell.com. Everything that you submit to AMEX BVG must have the case number written on it. The fax is so much quicker, but I've found that it's almost impossible to get a fax to go through. I've tried at 3 in the morning and still had problems. Then.. Just wait about a week to 10 days and you should receive your BVG check from AMEX. You can also check the status of your submission by calling the BVG number. It usually takes a day or so to process your faxed (longer if mailed obviously) submissions.

That's it. I've done 3 BVG's and don't know why I haven't done more quite frankly. I kept hearing rumours about the Optima card dropping the BVG, but apparently, it's still good for me until the end of the month. I originally had the Blue card and AMEX dropped BVG on that card right away. Maybe because deals sites were pushing the blue card along with BVG.

Question about BVG.. I forgot how long we have to wait to submit a BVG claim. I'd like to do it tomorrow, but should I wait until I get my monitors from Dell first?

that's what you think right ?
just cause he thought it was a pricing error, he deleted it. All you can come up with is he is trying to keep the deal to himself

Grow up man

That's what he said over at fatty's. That's not what I thought up at all. Why don't you go act all self righteus somewhere else.

Which American Express card has BVG? Does the American Express Gold Business card have that gurantee?

thanks for posting the deal, it is 3:30am EST, I was still able to place the order. People mentioned that it is not a good monitoror or perhaps, the order will not go through. Well I will just try my luck then. 18" LCD monitor for $240 is too hot. If I don't like it, I will just sell it on ebay.

thanks again!

Geezzz....I don't think we should even care about the quality for this price. After all, it probably won't go through.

Nice find. I got one thinking this... These are going for close to 500 bucks even at best buy. So it could be a real price. But I doubt it. It really does look like the dude got the sale price and saving prices reversed. Dam Dysleixa bastard.

Anyway for the idiots already selling them on ebay for 295 bucks. Good Luck!

Its per item.. not claim..

I did two items in 1 claim yesterday.. they were two separate orders for the same item but the csr at bvg told me to do it that way

How many times before have they done this, offer a Ludicrous low price, then cancel hundreds of orders. Nothing but a waste of time.
