I got a call from AMEX BVG.

It seems that someone who read this thread has faxed this thread to AMEX CSRs. They have called tech.... and found that the price was an error. PM Denied!

i know it wont be honored, but just so everyone knows, the VG800 was my first LCD and it was pretty sweet for the price


i got it when it first came out ($550, usually $700, but i got it on a hot deal)


yeah, its only analog, but still, its big, nice looking, and its an LCD...and for this price, there is NO room to complain about anything. even if it was lime green, its still a steal.

How do you go about canceling your order?

Well, there have been many-a-time when the company decides to honor it.. (i remember reading about like... 52" Plasma TVs or something like that)

So, if you try... it can't hurt. But, they honor it... you get a great deal. I don't see the harm in trying. Not necessarily "idiots" merely... "suckers for possibilities."
