Wow, color me very impressed. Got mine today and played some PS3 demos. The difference between it and the TV's speakers is massive, very much night & day. The bass is relatively weak, but that's expected. Vizio did it right. They focused on what this enclosure is best suited for: mid-range and highs while giving the option to add a sub for bass.
I'm an audiophile (albeit, a poor one) so I honestly wasn't expecting much from a sound bar, especially one so cheap (and Vizio). It's no replacement for my 2030's, but $60 for this kind of SQ is a very good deal. Hell, $100 would still be pretty good. My cousin will be pleased.
Course there are some negatives. The remote is picky where you point it. I'll probably try removing the foam behind the grill to improve things as others suggested. Also the bar blocks my TV's remote sensor so I can't use it unless I raise my hand a bit higher. Course some books or something to raise the TV higher would solve this.
