Since I already bought my 9300, I will just call Dell and bitch to give me 200 off, or whatever the difference is, or I will returnit and reorder.

I dont like buying a laptop and having a coupon come out a week later thats so much cheaper.

Heres what I love (read hate) about Dell
I configured a 9300 in both SB and Home with the same 350 discount they are giving ATM.
The SB 9300 = 1526
The Home 9300 = 1730

same specs too
sigh

I reconfigured my 700m - feedback appreciated:

$1714.00 - 750 = 964 + 5%tax - 3% cashback = @$981.83

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 725 (1.60 GHz/400MHz FSB)12.1-in WXGA
256MB DDR SDRAM 1 Dimm (+ $65 for 512 module from newegg)
40 GB Hard Drive
24X CD Burner/DVD Combo Drive
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200 Internal Wireless (802.11 b/g, 54Mbps)
65 WHr 8-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
2Yr Ltd Warranty, 2Yr At-Home Service, and 2Yr Technical Support
2yr accident protection

I am only getting the warranty for the chance of lcd damage - maybe I will just price that part instead of all the warranty hocuspocus

Rossman, what I said before about the warranties isn't true... It became clearer when I reread it...

CompleteCare is a repair and replacement service that covers most accidental damage to select systems and peripherals that is not covered under limited warranty (spills, drops, surges, breakages). Please note: If you selected the Premium Service Packages above, please select "None" in this section as you already have CompleteCare in the package

They have Premier Warranty Support which is different from Premium Service Package, which is found under Limited Warranty, Services and Support

according to the At article, as long as they are 2.5' they should be fine... there are comments in newegg section for them that usually say what laptop they put them in....

disclaimer:But i have no direct personal experiece and you shouldn't trust what I say
that info goes to credit in the previous locked thread that I copied over cuz it was good info
