i'm not a betting man but i'll say there's a 1 in 1000 chance they put the hardrive on the web.
These programs already exist, though I don't know of any for Officemax. I wrote one for Newegg refurbs once, and was contemplating selling it. If a product will sell out you can't put the program in too many people's hands or it ruins the effectiveness of getting early notice. It's awesome seeing those Newegg refurb video cards all in stock at dirt cheap prices.Originally posted by: thortyboy
With all this waiting, i'm thinking that maybe it would be cool if there was some type of "hot deals agent" (program) that runs on your computer instead of people having to use a web browser and posting forums (refreshing the whole page over and over wasting lots of bandwidth). That way, when deals go live, the agent can be "instantly" notified. Anyone interested in developing one? maybe i'll get a req. doc together.

Give Church a try? Just because I'm not Christian doesn't mean I'm Aethist guys.
As for the Website they better put it up...I just found the closest OM was 40 miles away from me and I wouldn't drive there for an hour (this is Southern California traffice baby...) unless I could reserve one....
Even if they stick it up at 4 AM I will buy it....
*Sigh*
/me beings to randomly drink Gatorade...fruit punch to be specific
Can anyone link on to their web site anymore? Are they getting ready to update? Or is it just to much traffic!

That's what I had planned on doing. Hopefully it will work.
Well, I usually stay up until 1:00AM watching late-night television anyway. And OM doesn't open until 10:00am, so I'll still be able to get 8 hours of sleep in.Originally posted by: joecool
i hate to say this, but you guys that are staying up all night for this deal are kind of pathetic - like mm says, it's only an hd AND you're only talking about saving $30 ... is that really worth ruining your weekend over?!
