Good deal, and you only need $10.01 in fillers, not $20.01. Good thing there are several $10 - $10 MIR items that week. Oh, and that drive will be sooooo sold out fast - it is a good deal even for those who don't visit deal boards and don't know about coupons, so this will be OOS in no time.

On the web site it says "Style # WD1200JBRTL" which is the 8MB version be the picture is of the 2MB version and the ad lists the item # for both versions.

What item number is the 8MB cache version, 2014-8555 or 2034-6127 ? Edit: Looks lke the 2034-6127 is the 8MB version. Thanks a lot MysticMan for the deals you so often provide.

That Cendyne DVD burner should be a good price at about $100 with 50 off 250 coupon. Is DVD+RW a good choice or is another format better to wait for?

In the description it only shows a 1 year warranty which would indicate that this is a 2MB version

I think the 8mb cache come in 1 year warranty packs as well. This is a great deal no matter which version it is.

Question, would it be in my interest to order one of these guys now, and then try to get the instant money off later, or should I wait for Sunday?

Dang! I am going to have to RAID this with the $10 WD 120GB HD from Circuit City (as soon as I get a new case, power supply, motherboard, video card, sound card, processor, heat sink, fans, RAM, mouse, keyboard, and monitor to go with them ).

Because Oficemax still have the 2MB version available for sale in some stores and maybe a few in their warehouses they probably wouldn't update the infomation and picture on their web site and in the ad until they have totally sold all of the 2MB version of Western Digital 120GB Hard Drive. But the Manufacturer # (WD1200JBRTL) on that page "is" for the 8MB version.

Watch out for a substituted order that may arrive late and miss the rebate deadline!
Is it an accidental way of voiding a rebate by Omax???
hmm...

Why would you even care if it's 8 meg, or 2 meg, or 1 meg? $30 for a 120 gig drive is a blazing deal. And contrary to all the claptrap you've been fed, it's very unlikely you'd notice any performance difference between 8 meg and 2 meg buffers anyways.

I didn't order an A70 for myself (did it for someone else), think I am going to keep my A40.

I'm TRYING my hardest to not spend $$$ senselessly but it's a difficult battle, the force is weak, the dark side is looming closer.
