There are two 120JB at dell. You'd better buy the other one. The other one is a retail package and comes with the product capacity lable. So more likely you'll be able to get the rebate!

How do you know this one isn't the retail package. Where does it say?

Yeah.. You've got to watch it. I don't know if this is the hdd with the 30 day warranty or 3 yr warranty. It's not very clear.

If this is a retail drive make sure that there aren't any stipulations with the warranty. I think I remember Dell only giving a warranty for a drive if you have a Dell system.

Still a great deal though. Any idea who is handling the rebate because I'm waiting on a $100 rebate right now from WD.

Also.. You might want to edit the thread to include tax on that $58. Plus, it's not $58 shipped. It's $158 shipped and $58 + tax (for some folks) after rebate.

This one is the 3 year warranty. If you click tech specs it says this.

Service & Support: 3 years warranty

I my opinion it would be better to purchase the retail one for 20 bucks more and not worry about not getting the sku or whatever. I called a CSR and she said that the rebate should apply. Furthermore, she stated that they will try to provide a sku with the drive.. .If not she said to send it back.. I just ordered to the retail one to be safe, then sorry.

Well, it's not a hot deal if you can't get the rebate. So I wouldn't say "either way."
