Didn't see these other posts until it was too late... I'm going to take my chances on the less expensive one (since the order has already been placed). Either way, it's a hot deal!
Well, it's not a hot deal if you can't get the rebate. So I wouldn't say "either way."
Good luck though.

WHERE IS THE REBATE!!!!
i would get the boxed version for $186 - 15% auto off - $100 rebate = $69 to make sure that the rebate is valid.

I ordered the OEM version before I saw that the retail version was available for only $11 more. Then I ordered the retail version. How can I cancel the first order? Do I have to call or will that screw things up? If I end up with both, can I claim the rebate on both drives? Though I'm having both drives shipped to the same addy, if I have the rebates shipped to different addresses will that work?

Thats the price for the OEM drive which does not qualify for the rebate. The retail drive is for $198

WD1200JB is oem version, 8 meg cache, 3 year warranty, no rebate for this one. $186.47
Bensbargins messed up on this deal big time, all those people ordering the oem drives will be surprised to find there not getting a rebate back.
EDIT: GET THE REBATE FORM HERE
just bought 3.
I will be able to rebate all 3 right? (Even if I can only rebate 1 that is still an excellent price)
