Wait a minute, so now we only have 14 days to file the rebate??? Are you kidding me? How can they just change the offer *after* selling the drives under the guise of a 30 day rebate window?

That's a good question, and one that we should be asking both Dell and WD (let's not forget that the rebate is WD's, not Dell's).

All,
The rebate form must be postmarked within 14 days from the purcahse date which is the invoice date (shipping date) of the drive. If you submit the form for the correct drive and your rebate is denied, please let me know.
I know there was a question about the OEM drive as well. If you seen the form posted with the OEM drive (A0009295) Pease send me a private message with your order # and details.
The rebate is for sku # A0060210 mfg part # WD1200JBRTL 120GB Caviar Special Edition Internal EIDE Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive w/8MB Cache - Retail Kit

The drive in question is the
sku # A0009295 mfg part # WD1200JB 120GB WD1200JB Internal EIDE Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Special Edition Hard Drive w/8MB Cache
the purchase date is the shipping date then none of us will get in on this deal since no drives were shipped on oir before 10/13??????
You can refuse shipment on the drive that you don't want. That is what Dell told me to do for a monitor that was double ordered and couldn't be cancelled in time. As for UPS dropping them off, that is up to UPS. If they drop it off I am not sure about refusal of delivery. I would contact UPS and ask them how to do that if they were to just leave your packages. Can I refuse shipment on the first drive with ground shipping? Doesn't UPS just drop these off at the door?
