i ordered on 12/30

and got this in my email today

We have reviewed your order. Although we had anticipated being able to ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay with your order and will not be able to ship this order and any associated orders until on or before 01-10-2006.

my shipped date has been pushed back to 1/10 also, and the 3200+ venice retail box i ordered 10 days ago, is supposed to ship on the 5th, i wonder if they will jack me up on that too.

Frigging Dell I must have had like a halfdozen orders canceled because they never actually could ship me the product.

if dont get it by the time it ends, can hope that dell refunds the 75$ due to their screw up, it said on their site when i ordered it ships within 24hrs, it shoulda been out already

Just got notice that mine is pushed back to 01-10-2006 also. Rebate still good as long as postmarked within 30 days of purchase. If shipping slow, could be cutting it close...

2. Push back ship date.
3. Push back ship date.
4. Agressive, outsourced customer service rep calls and attempts upsell.
5. Profit. Maybe.

Dell has pulled this little number on me twice. Not saying it is going to happen here, but I had bad luck with them over the last year. Dell had a lot of recent bait and switch complaints last time I looked on the BBB site. Good luck to those that got in.

Make sure you post back what type of ram (ddr1 or 3 and ns) and if it is 12 or 16 pipes.

Not really. That is what the listed specs are supposed to be for the base X800. The problem is Dell is listing specs for the UPPER end X800 cards.

Still a great deal. But if you want you mgiht be able to get dell to give you a coupon for the listing error. Write them a point out THEIR site says 16pipes and DDR3. You got 12 pipes and DDR1.

Oh and thanks for posting back. This will help others. Also have you run any benchmarks yet or tried to overclock it?
But I can't find the listing at fatwallet any more? to see what they are saying.
