Rebate is from rebatestatus.com...IMHO it's not worth dealing with this company, but it's still a hot deal if you don't mind waiting for (and probably calling them about) rebates.

When it says, "limit 3 rebates per product, per house". What exactly do they mean?

I ordered Microsoft Money 2003, so can I still get 3 or 2 Virus Scan's? I would assume 3.

means you can get 3 rebates for every house (address) you have.

Why do McAfee and Symantec give away their software away like this all the time? Is it just that they are coming out with newer versions soon or is someone else paying for the rebates? I guess I was just wondering if either of the two companies are in financial trouble.

Is anyone seeing it listed for $14.99? I am interested because I ordered 3 of these on 4/20 @ $19.99 each and if they are now going for $14.99 will try for a price adjust.

No, both are doing just fine. I suspect that there are two reasons....one, the classic rebate scenario -- they entice people to buy because of the rebate, but something like only 15% apply for and receive the rebate. And secondly, they hope that when the 1 yr license expires you'll pay them to renew. They probably don't take into account the people who frequent these forums and just "buy" another FAR copy the next year and never actually pay anything for their A/V software! I'm sure we're a pretty small percentage of their customer base.
