Microphones regularly come bundled with certain computers such as Macs,
SGIs, etc. My company just tosses them--they don't even put them in cold
strorage. There are low quality microphones that are better than nothing,
but not a LOT better than nothing. They are worth 10 cents, if you really
need a low quality microphone for something. But otherwise, this is
far from the hottest deal evar [sic].
