I live 45 miles from there and my wife's mother lives in Dearborn Heights and my wife has friends that live in Dearborn. The no-go zones spring up and are shut down by the Police. It's a ongoing struggle between the two factions. Sharia law is practiced when the authorities don't get involved. In other words if the crime is Muslim/Arab against Muslim/Arab, they police it themselves when they can in their own "courts". It's not illiteracy, it's not oppression, it's not prior wars, repression, lack of wealth or opportunity. It's merely and simply because a large percentage of muslims believe the world should be governed by Islamic and Sharia Law, and there is no place for others who don't agree. Keep assuming that it is that simple. THat is only part of their motivation. The fact is that if you are not muslim, you are their enemy. Not just because of what various western powers did in the middle east over the past century, but because you are an unbeliever. Their goal is a single global religion with beliefs that are dated by at least a couple hundred years.
