You can't take on a religion, it's an idea. I frequently see posts like, "Send the Muslims back". Ok, how are you going to know who's Muslim or not? Or is that code word for "those guys that look brown or black and have middle eastern, african, or south asian origins". Why don't YOU go back to Europe where you belong first? The problem is letting any religious group have a voice, they're all very divisive and the idea of organized religion should be prohibited in any modern nation, Christians and Jews are no exception to this rule. Bill Maher called it like it is today, he said these attacks are a direct consequence of the West meddling in the Middle East instead of simply pulling out, closing the borders and letting that problem take care of itself.
The only thing I agree with that these right wing shitbags have said is that Europe should not have been resettling those large amounts of Syrians because there will be terrorists slipping through. It only takes one or two out of a thousand to create this type of scenario and then those that tried escaping ISIS get caught in the aftermath of it. Instead, it would be easier to let them stay where they are or let other Arab nations absorb them and deal with the issue in Syria and elsewhere w/out the West interfering. If they were concerned about a humanitarian crisis, the most that could and should have been done is air drops w/food, water, and maybe some M16's to fight ISIS.
