However, it shows the credit card number with the billing amount above it at CDN $255 - even that's a tremendous deal - it's around $173 - about 50% off the regular price for the 400mhz model in the US. At CDN $164.45, it's USD $ 112 or so....

It would be killer if we can get AMEX to match. But looking from their website says : "Coverage is subject to certain terms, conditions, and exclusions"

We assume terms would be the max days and amount per year but I can't find anywhere where they state conditions and exclusions.

The only gotcha is that if your billing address shows a non-Canadian residence, then the Dell security/fraud team will examine the order first before allowing it to process. That means delaying it by a couple of days, but I still am unsure if they would allow it to ship to the US... unless someone wants to try?

They are already aware of the priceing mistake.
Talked to a service rep about a deal on shipping as they wanted $100 shipping for 4 units.
He told me that if I ordered through him, he could wave the shipping and handleing.
He also told me regular price on the 400's is 549 (Canadian), and not to cancel my online order as it might still go through.
I should know in a couple of days.
I'll also note that I already got an email from Dell giving my order confirmation number.
Hoppfully the'll let the deals go through untill they update the web site.

I ordered the 300mhz one last night. Then I realized that I should have bought the 400mhz one, so I ordered one of those too. I only received an email for the first order though. Anyone else not receive the initial emails?

Anyways, I think we will be extremely lucky to get these. This deal has spread like wildfire since last night. I'm seeing it on forums all over the place.

Hmm.. if you get the 400mhz, but subtract the cradle (just have the cord) the 400mhz is the same price as the 300mhz! (300mhz doesnt have the cradle in the first place)

now I gotta figure out a money plan...
