At 11pm yesterday, it was still "Usually ship in 1-2 day" but 6hrs later, it's now "ON ORDER".....................must have been swept big time.

I ordered for store pickup but I doubt these will be held for me on time before they are all taken. Still got no confirmation email to bring in for pickup yet.

Don't expect it to be there just because you ordered it. The two times I have used in store pickup they pulled the item I bought from the shelf after I got there. There doesn't seem to be any method to holding the item for you.

AU Tiger: Every time I have purchased at BB.com for in store pick up, my purchases have been waiting at the customer service counter. Maybe I have just been lucky, or found a good store.

Ziptar thanks for the link to the rebate. I hadn't seen it when I first ordered.

Also for those of you, like me, who ordered online and had it shipped directly to you, note that the receipt you get when you complete the order does NOT have the date. You have to go in and check your order status in order to get that. Make sure you do because if you send them a receipt without the date you most likely will not get the rebate. As far as I can tell, otherwise there's no exclusions about having to buy it in the store vs online.

That's the downside of ordering online, the "order charge". It's still cheaper than ordering from Crucial though and safer than risking going to the stores and hoping some are left.

Everytime I've done the in store pickup they've messed the order up. It seems like they take your order then go looking on the store shelves to fill it. I've seen this done at Circuit City also. It seems they're worse than Best Buy. I don't know how many times I've given my order to CS and see the clerk scurry off to see if the item is on the shelves already picked over by the instore vultures. Usually if I can't get it delivered I forget about it.

I went over there yesterday (Sat.) and bought my 256 DDR2100 at full price ($59.99) just to make sure I would get one. I plan to go over there again after work today and get a price adjustment. If they won't do it, I'll just return the chip and get my money back.

I was the first one back to the memory section, and the ddr shelf was bare. I did get a rain check, but also told a manager that the add does say minimum 10 per store, and their store had zero. Oh well, what do you do.

the deals with these rebates are good from 12/9 to 12/15 so If not avail. today (no worries)

Just got back! Instore Pickup was no problem, didn't even have to wait in line... I took a look at the memory shelf after I picked up my two sticks. They still had about 12 sticks PC2100 on the shelf 2 and half hours after opening. There was a line at the upgrade counter though, from the looks of it everyone was lining up for the RAM deal...

BTW: They had a 100 16X CD-R Spindle for $9.99 after $20.00 Rebate. I didn't get it though....
