This is my first time getting in on a Hot Deal like this, and this
is a great one to start with! I'm glad I found this site when I did.
I've been working on building a system lately. I don't have a lot of
cash to spend right now, so I'm trying to spend what I have only on
the parts I need to make the machine work. I'll have more later and
I can get the other stuff then.
While I eventually wanted to have 1GB of RAM in this machine, I
thought I'd only get one 256MB stick now, and add the rest later.
With this in mind I thought I'd get either PC2400 or PC2700 memory
now, because while it cost more now, when I get around to getting
the rest, it will probably have dropped in price, and I'm trying
not to buy anything I'll only have to throw out later.
Anyway, 256MB of PC2400 was $87 at the place I was looking. I didn't
think that was that bad. But this deal. Damn. This is great.
I Picked up 4 on Sat. for $240 + $12 tax (stupid taxachusettes)
Today I got the price updated and got $105 back. I know there's
only supposed to be one $10 rebate per customer, but the register
spit out 4 rebate forms and 4 rebate reciepts all without me even
asking for them. After I get the $40 back from the rebates, I'll
be in for $107. The best part was that when I was there on Sat.
I remembered I had a $30 Gift card in wallet I've been carrying
around since last christmas So after everything 1GB is only
going to cost me $77 - That's $10 less than I was going to pay
for 256MB. HA!
