I'm not gonna waste my time with those folks anymore. I went an ordered a PNY ( never had one...hope it's ok) ti4600 for $338.00 + $10.00 shipping from Multiwave.com. Supposed to ship Monday...lol, we'll see

Shipping ETA is end of the month. However those who reinstated the orders first get priority, I believe. The problem is that Visiontek keeps on pushing the ETA back. I'm inclined to believe Gateway.

Looks like it's true! Just placed my reinstatement at the number listed above! Got it for $339.00 even! The rep said that they still had no ETA but every pricewatch site says late March, which is within a week. I'm really glad Gateway is attempting to correct a bad PR move...Thanks "Mystic!"

Now the cost between the 4400 and the 4600 is so small, you're better off going for the big gun!

uhmmm... the price difference is the same as it was before $100.

not a lot of money, but it only buys you 3-4 fps in most games.

I would rather spend that cash on a display upgrade.

Are they not charging tax where before they did? I have not reinstated my order yet waiting to see what is going on. But if I can save on the tax, I may have to. I am in California so it was 8.25%.

rgowen---I'm in California as well. 'Ya know it never even occurred to me to ask about the tax. I just assumed everything would be like it was. In checking my order on-line, it was indeed reinstated with FREE SHIPPING and NO TAX. I got a call from someone in there shipping department later that day confirming the order was in the system and ready for delivery once the 4600's come in. First time I ever got a call like that AFTER everything was set to go. That's cool, though.

I got mine today!! Check everyday to see if it shipped and nothing today nothing on the site but at my door a ti4400!!! Wahoo!
