Just to clear it up, a friend of mine told me about this deal, I didn't get it from techbargains. If you see, the original post was made about 11:30 am on 1/6, I don't believe that techbargains had it up until sometime in the afternoon. Who knows maybe techbargains did get it from here. Maybe they should credit me, lol.

Anyways, the point is that everyone gets free magazines, so enjoy!

jtallon - out of curiosity, what's your point? For those who don't monitor other sites regularly (like me), the fact that a deal is posted elsewhere is irrelevent. If it makes it to the AT forum I've got a chance at it, otherwise forget it. >>



My only point is that it's nice to give credit to the place where you found the deal at. Copying a deal from another website to this one isn't really 'finding' it, it's only 'copying' it. I agree it's still nice to see them posted here, I just like to give credit where credit is due. Now if the original poster did indeed find for themselves instead of seeing it at techbargains (or some other deal-related site), then kudos to them. If they got it from another site, that site should really be credited in the original post for finding the deal...

My two cents...

I have been regularly reading (lurking) this forum, PhatWallit, and Got Apex for almost a year now and 99.9999% of the time a hot deal is posted on one of the three before it invariably hits the deal sites, and Techbargains is certainly no exception. Where in the heck did their reputation come from? I mean, you got 82025(!) registered Anandtech forum users alone and who knows how many of those users tracking down deals every single day. Techbargains has what, three guys? Two guys? One? I'm all for giving credit where credit is due, too, but sometimes I think we give Techbargains WAY too much credit.



Ahh...who really gives a sh*t anyway?
