Please try that when it is back.

Reason I ask is because I have tried both Garmin's and Tomtom.
Both newest version of Navtaq and Tele Atlas doesn't seems to know where they are.

It may not be big deal to most of people. But I just moved to Seattle area, and I found Garmin's newest Version 8 Navtaq is NOT helpful at all.

I cant help with the nearest locations unless I am actualy at your location I suppose since your "NE 119th Way" doesnt show up. There is an option to save a home location via the GPS function as opposed to typing it in.

The best price I found on ebay shipped was $250+. As far as points of interest, its finding the mom and pop resturaunts, auto shops and such. I'm happy with it thus far. Fry's also offered a 3 year replacement insurance for $15.00.

I also grabbed one of these - i've been very impressed so far.

Once you turn it on, it grabs a signal pretty much instantly. The voice prompts are loud and easy to understand (it doesn't speak out the actual street name though). Dash and window mounting brackets are included, as well as the 12V power adapter and a coupon in the box for a free AC adapter if you want one. The built-in database had all of my local spots, even the little "hole in the wall" restaurants that I stop by once in a while.

This would have been a great gift for someone, I regret not picking up more than one.
