I had to look around my store for a while to find them. They were in the electronics section near the other small amount of computer peripherals they had, on a shelf near the bottom.

It is in the (small) computer section. It is a rather big box-considering what's in it - and it is a normal retail bundle not something target put together, so yes it should be elgible for the $20 MIR

I found it in Central Joisey and it's not in their weekly ad. Also at least in my store they had it tagged as a special, but did not mention what it would cost if it's not on sale. But I would guess that the 199 or 179 quoted above would be about right.

by Central Joisy, do you mean New Jersey?? if so, they sold out at the Princeton Target at the price of $99.00 and when i went by the Edison Target Greatland, they had 6, i bought 4. so good hunting.

On the shelf it stated that the offer is good through 12/28/02. So it is possible that they might re-stock. I went to the Middletown store, they had about 10 left yesterday evening (all notebook combos no desktop combos).

Easiest damn network setup ive ever done. Took about 10min including unhooking my old Router and Switch and setting up my new one. Well worth the $$$.

i agree, it is an easy setup. it's well designed and in my opinion looks pretty good.

especially the desktop version. i set up a dell PC and this wireless set up for my clients daughter and she's very pleased with it because she says it's very pretty.

haven't really tested range, the base and the adapter are about 60 ft apart on the same floor of the house. it had a great connection at that distance so i'd say you should have no problems within a house.

Okay ... north dallas area stores are dry. I've check the cambell coit store, parker store, McAllen store, supertarget near 75, frisco, and richardson supertarg. The only store with these in-stock is Richardson SuperTarget -- but they are not selling for $99, they are priced @$179.99. I tried to get the fat bastard who works there to PM or call other targets.. but he would'nt bite. He said that Target stores can't PM other Target stores. O-well ... I donated like $10 worth of change to all the santa clauses at the doors. Most were really good looking women, btw.

I have an exsisting Linksys 8 port Router, I can hook up this new Wireless Router to the port one and just use the wireless for my laptop correct?
