I tried calling staples rebates, tand the knumskull csr just said she had no clue. She just tried to get me to call someone else.

I just called about 3 staples rebate processing centers..

those scans that nokote posted of that coupon are "wrong" as the CSR says. that rebate number only turns up 20 dollars, as is said by the CSR. she siad that I couldn't get my $40 back, and I should call the stores in my are to tell them. she wants me to tell them. wtf?!!?
Im pissed, and im still going to send in the $40 rebate.

Sorry, I was too angry when I typed. the rebate was for $40 originally, but the rebate submission CSR told me that it was supposed to be only $20. thats why we only see a $20 rebate on staples.com

my local B&M Staples had one, but would not accept a PM or a 25 off 100 coupon. Had to pay 129.97 plus tax. Did p/u the rebate form for 40 bucks at the door. I called 800-3STAPLES and the guy I talked to said the B&M stores would not accept the coupon code or the PM. Go figure.

Can somebody mail a $25 off $100 e0mail coupon? I have the codes but the staples near me wouldn't take just the code itself. (Tried with 4 different people). They said they'd be happy to price adjust if I could bring in a printout of one of the $25 of $100 emails. They were pretty cool about it considering... they said sorry District managers rules - we just follow them.

Anyway - ANY 25/100 email to me would roXors!

there is no $25 off $100 email, for use in B&M. If i were u I would make the order online using the code- but dont complete the order, just get to the confirmation page showing the CDRW and the $25 coupon, print that out, and take it in, that's what i do.

that way they have a peice of paper to put in their file ot whatever. if needed make up aomething about being out of stock online, that's why you came to the store.....

Pricematched the CD-RW to samsclub.com, but the person wouldn't accept the coupon code without the e-mail printout. Is there a place on the web where we can get these e-mails?

Final price: $109 before the rebate.
