If your a 10 1/2 you should have ordered a 9. A 10 is going to be way to big, its usually 1 to 1 1/2 size difference between US and UK. I wear an 11 1/2 in US size, but I ordered all tens since the three pairs of Docs I have currently are 10's.

I myself ordered 4 pairs, 2 pairs 1561ZBEN-59 Aztec Crazy Horse (I wear these everyday and beat the crap out of them), 1 pair of 8312ZBEX Bark Grizzly (Another more for casual pair, to go out), and 1 pair of 8287ZBEX Bark Grizzly (For next winter and fall since my current boots look like crap). Might order 2 more pairs for my sister, will just wait and see till tonight, she has to decide what she wants.

These are by far the best shoes I have ever had and have been wearing them for last 7 years.

Here is the e-mail I received after finally reaching the order confirmation page after hitting the submit order button like 10 times. $62.43 is a GREAT price for Doc Martens. Thanks for the post! I currently have the exact same pair I ordered and love them. The 8501ZBNB Black Fine Haircell shoes don't have that UGLY yellow stitching. All black.

Someone PM'ed me and asked about the size of the shoe. I wear a US10.5 shoe and ordered a UK10. The shoes are a little big. I wear thick black socks (Gold Toe Cotton Fluffies) and I put in some Dr. Scholl's thin foam inserts. This works great. When I lace up the shoe the two sides where the laces go thru over the tongue touch. If you have ANY doubt, go to the mall and test drive a pair before ordering. I've heard they make buy don't export half sizes for some dumb reason.

You will get a confirmation page with a tracking number when your order is processed. Like I said, I hit the submit order button 10 times and it finally took. I only received one e-mail. The site is buggy but worth the extra clicks it takes to get 50% off!

Be patient and keep trying to order. The deal is still alive you just need to catch while the site is alive. It never seems to be down for more than 15 minutes or so. Picked up two pairs myself. Broke down and ran to the store to try them on first and what I found was order 1 size smaller than the chart indicates for boots and shoes, but follow the chart for sandals.

They can't cancel this, according to their coupon, it was for employies, family, and friends. So in a way the person who origianlly posted the deal thought we were all his firends! No, seriously, I will be pissed if they do, I have been buying Docs for the last seven years all at retail prices, well except those that my aunt brought from England that cost 60 bucks. It's not like they are losing anything on thi deal, I work for a major retailer, *cough* Sears *cough* and they make a crapload off selling shoes. Even though the employess only make straight commission, you can pull in a ton of money!

The site should be up soon hopefully, I don't need to track my shoes as long as they get here. Their's no reason for them to cancel orders since they themselves posted that if their is to much demand they will suspend the offer and the store. From what I hear their were ony like 900 orders placed. On another forum, they have also think it's in the upper 900s as everyone was posting their invoice numbers and what time tey purchased.

We should start that I guess here, I was invoice #754 and purchased on 4/20/02 at 9:10 AM CST! Please post purchase dates/times and invoice numbers so we can see how many orders went through before site shutdown.

HOLD YER HORSES ON CALLING THIS BABY DEAD...

When I tried to click the original promotional link I went to the "due to overwhelming blah blah blah... site is closed."

but, when I tried going directly to the front page

I got in!
I was able to place items in my shopping cart and check out! I entered the promotional code which I guess I shouldn't put up here, and I got through every step of the checkout, with my 50% discount! (I have gone back in and logged onto my account and whoopee my order shows up! WITH THE DISCOUNT! )
