Bah, I've seen threads about free condoms and cheesburgers get bumped a lot, so what's your point? This deal was HOT, saved me a lot MORE than $50 and was ethically sound. How many DOTYs can you say that about? Dotcom madness had to end eventually.

I just wish more people had bought the drive to USE instead of to SELL. Market saturation will be end of you biatches...

UPDATE!

My drives are DEAD!

They ran for a little while, but now I'm getting BSOD in WinXP and they don't get detected by the controller half the time! Dell is going to get my foot up their ass tommorow morning! :|

I guess its only a matter of time until your equipment dies if you have cats taking up residence inside the warm pc.

Hard to believe both died at the same time. Sounds like either they were both severely defective to begin with, or you have serious problems with the PC (such as perhaps a PS thats not properly regulated).

I TRY UNDER DOS, FDISK DOESN'T SHOW CORRECT NUMBER OF GIG...ONLY SHOW ~48GB, BUT AFTER I FORMATTED IT, IT SHOW ALL 120GB OR ~111GB BUT I CHECK UNDER FDISK IS STILL SAY ~48GB AND FILE SYSTEM UNDER FAT16...HOW CAN I FORMATTED IT TO FAT32? Well, first you turn off capslock.

Then you read the thread and format from disk management.

After a one day delay (freakin UPS) I got my $133 drive today (tax sux). Running XP on it as I type. THANKS!!!

Hmmm...I popped the drives in another computer and they both passed Scandisk full scans without any problems. Now the other computer won't boot with the drives, but thy are running in my main PC perfectly now! Go figure!

I think my motherboard is flaking out on me!

 

W00t. Was not expecting the drive until after the 16th. The mail guy just brougt me some 120G love. Nice

How did you tell it's a retail or OEM? I have 2 of those and would be great to know what version they are. Retail carries 3 year warranty. right?
