DEAL DEAD!!

Just an update, I haven't heard anything other than the original confirmation email on this deal.

Their site still shows my order as $25.95.

I have emailed MasterCard about the matter and not heard back from them either as of yet. :|

I will post here as soon as I hear anything. This "deal" was on their site for over 24 hours before they changed it. I believed it was a real deal. I came across it while browsing at the site and after ordering and receiving that first confirmation email, posted the deal here.

From now on, I will only post "free" deals, like the Labatt beer glass I posted a few months ago.

I'm sorry for any confusion or problems with this deal, I believed it was a true deal, especially since it was through MasterCard and catalogcity.

I am on the phone with the customer service people right now. Boy are they stupid. They dont know anything. I am on hold while they are getting a manager. So far they said that it was a price error. They said that my order was never in there system and for the orders that did get put into the system they would get an email saying thet it was a price error and the real price is $59.00 for the cheap chair and $89.00 for the large tower. the shipping would get around $25.00 - $28.00 for my order.

So its a classic case of "the other guys did it,dont blame us!".No worries there will be other deals to slay another day...
Computerlady,dont hold back posting something that seems to be a great deal or even close to a steal.Im sure youve seen many such orders get cancelled as price mistakes,but there are also some that are honored by the companies.We dont know which it will be till we try.For those that get in on time,it makes it well worth while for the ones that dont pan out.In sharing a deal you are not responsible to see that we all get what we were hoping for...here as in gift giving its the thought that counts.So its frustrating when it dosent work out,but no biggie.Thanks for post.

Same email here, the thing I don't understand is catalog city is still showing the wrong price for the large tower $55. Their email said that the large one is $65. Doesn't look like they pay to much attention to their pricing. Anyway I picked up some other stuff so thanks for the post Computerlady, I still got some bargains out of it.
