it seems that lots of people are purchasing used micron PC133 128 meg memmory for around $140.

I purchased PNY 138 meg PC133 for $131 including shipping and it works great at CAS2. The chip is 7.5ns..

I think it's a good deal to see somthing like $1 per meg..

I've been looking for 128MB PC100 for about a week now. Seems the best deal is the Kingston ValueRam since there's a $20 rebate for 128MB until 9/30. You can go through Onvia now for about $101 after coupon and rebates, or wait til Buy.com's free shipping. With Buy, you get an extra $10 to spend to reach the $150 minimum, which is better, but still no 30/150's in sight for returning customers.

TCWO.com has Micronics PC133 memory for $123 plus flat $6.95 shipping. I have purchased several from them. Lifetime warranty. I have one in this T-Bird at 900 Mhz right now 133Mhz at 222. I have had it up to 145Mhz 222 with no problems in this Abit KT7. And yes the Abit KT7 will go over 133 Mhz memory bus, the manual is wrong. (I only added that last part because I knew someone would say something about it)

mdmarkdata has 128mb micron pc133 cas2 sticks for $113. Shipping is $12 but if you are ordering 256mb worth that is still cheap. Even with tax (I live in Florida and the company is in Miami) it is $252 shipped for 256mb.

It was listed as cl2 on pricewatch so naturally I was curious. I e-mailed the company and got a rather prompt reply saying yes, these are cas2. How credible they are I don't know, but the fact that I actually got a reply says at least something.

Hey todays, according to the manual you can't take the Abit KT7 over 133 MHz.

monty burns, you can take it over 133 Mhz. There is an option to set the memory clock as host+pci. This equals 133 when you have the fsb=100 but then you can also increase the fsb.so yes, you can have higher memory bus that 133 mhz.
