it's just sad that some people who ordered after darkstar, eek and I got their monitors already. I'm in no rush but I just don't want our orders to be cancelled.

Well, it seems that Dell's order status page is geared toward system purchases, since most of the steps do not apply to accessory purchases. Also, to my knowledge, nobody has gotten any backorder notices.

Well, when I ordered mine this morning I asked if they were back ordered and the rep said yes. I also noticed it is more suited to system purchases and much of the steps don't apply, maybe we'll all get our monitor soon then later? I definitely don't want it cancelled, I will give them hell.

I called a rep that I had done some business with before and he was like "ohh let me rearch that - where did you find that price?" I pointed him here and he called me back stating that this whole thread looked illigit and against dell policies, blah, blah, blah and that this might even impede my own ability to order from them in the future - Y E A H R I G H T !!!.

I gave him to understand that I don't care and that this is likely the last time we talk - I then called Andy who was great $911 shipped 2nd day - will keep Andy's extension for future business.
