I guess illl just be OCD and keep hitting the refresh button on my tracking page.

Where in Marina Del Rey do you go to pick them up? Is it the Fedex location at 4170 Del Rey Ave? If yes, do you just show them your drivers licence and they give you the package?

I called and they said the distribution centers aren't open on weekends. Mine is in Vernon but I'll have to wait until Monday.

A word of warning to some people though. The 1080p examples are fantastic looking but use up all of your cpu. I miss a couple frames every 30 sec or so and it very noticable. 1080p displays video at 1900X1200 (pretty sure) and I guess that much info at once is too much for my processor. I've got a AMD 3200+ Barton, 1Gig Ram, and 6800 Ultra.

If anybody else can comfirm, or hopefully tell me some kind of work around lemme know

Still in love with the purchase; its just tempting me to upgrade the processor/motherboard before I wanted to.

Elsewhere in the forums(linky) there might be a work around for anyone getting stuttering HighDef videos when running at these super high resolutions.

Looks like you might wanna check your fastwrites, and what software your using to watch the video.

Also I've been using the monitor @1920X1200 with UT2004 and still get ~50 fps, and 35fps on DOOM3 timedemo1. One negative is that the size of the screen is a little disorienting, I'm sure I'll get used to it though. On a positive note,I have noticed that running in widescreen does seem to help with picking up enemies in your peripheral that you would have missed.

Good luck everyone still waiting on yours, and everyone who's already got yours - why don't you write what you think of your newest aquisition. I remember that hearing reviews helped to take the edge off while I was waiting for my 2405 to come in. Actually I was pretty surprised by the lack of REAL reviews out on the net.

Is there any nice wall papers for this, and by running at 1920X1200 how does it look like i mean on the internet or every thing else. Or any body think any other resolution is good instead of going all the way to the Max.

1080p = 1920x1080, with the frames being drawn progressively. your bottleneck is your CPU. 1080p video generally requires a 3+ghz Intel CPU or an Athlon64 CPU to properly render without skipping. my A64 3000+ even skips every now and then when playing back 1080p material!

I played several of these excellent downlods but no problem whatsoever on my P4 3.4 with 1 GB RAM

Don't know how I'll go to work this morning after playing with my new 2405FPW over the weekend - I use a 17" Dell LCD at work!

Check out the reviewers last name. That is how I feel after buying this thing, but it was worth it.

Thanks!

Mine's out for delivery! (only notable because it's a day early, so hopefully the rest of the 3/15 socal people caught the same break too) Now I'm crossing my fingers about dead pixels....
