cs source with this is awesome. Minimal to no ghosting (compared to a slightly older LCD, at least). I'm running it windowed at 1680x1050; actually had to get used to the widescreen a little.. but it's something I'll put up with . Seriously, though, ...this screen is great.

I also ordered from Timothy Ness on Monday at 3pm eastern. He answered the phone right away although he asked if he could call me back cuz he was taking another order. He called back in 15 mins. Shipped today (Wednesday) to Ohio for Friday delivery. Note, my estimated delivery date on my order was 3/17 so they are still shipping way before that date (no promises tho ).

I read an article today maybe in InfoWeek about there being a glut of LCD panels because of unexpectedly weak demand for larger screens. It seems true as Dell looks to have plenty of these to handle the high demand.

I have a water-cooled 6800 Ultra still running at stock speeds just waiting for a challenge. Time to crack open that HL2 coupon that came with my old Radeon 9800XL...and Doom3 I haven't opened yet...and FarCry that came with some motherboard. Between Final Fantasy XI and WoW and school, these games keep slipping through the cracks until now!

Does anyone know if the power adapter and cord are the same ones used for the 2001FP? I'm hoping to just disconnect everything from the 2001FP and put in the 2405FPW. There should't be any problems with the DVI and USB cable .. I'm just concerned that the power adapter. Normally, switching them wouldn't be a problem, but all of my cords are nicely hidden behind a big desk - which means changing cables can be somewhat of a pain

I think the $750 is BS, I used my wife's company EPP code online, and it was $1199. her company is HUGE, so if they don't get a good price, I doubt that any other company would get a better price.

The 2405 doesn't use a power block like the 2001 does, its just a regular power cord (like you plug a PC in with). So you won't be able to re-use the 2001 one.

Hey, I said they were rumours. Just like online at SB doesn't cut it, online for EPP doesn't do it -- you need to call your EPP number, have the rep search for the lowest sale price, and then get them to match that for you. I've got a feeling you have to find the right EPP rep, just like you need to find the right SB rep.

But any ways this price is also great if you compare with the Apple's 23" LCD Cinema, or Samsungs 24"LCD both costs $1999.99. Then you will be paying shipping too on that, and look what we got is 2 days free shipping plus $906 for my 24" LCD.
