Well i tried ATI HDTV TV Tunner which i bought from CompUsa $149. I just wanna say it cannot be better than this. Crisp clear channels of HDTV, i was getting 11 Channels of HDTV, but few of them had week signals, some of thems were at 480i some of them were at 780i but i did not see any one at 1080i. But in near future there will be some at this resolution, i also bought other TV tunner card just in case to compare, and it was $49, and to be honest it looks great too. Picture was on the full screen nice not as sharp as HDTV, but not bad at all specially WB54 was nice and compareable to 480i. So any way i checked the game Need for Speed Underground 2 and TV tunner cards they all works fine or i should say Excellent with this monitor. Now the only thing left is the DVD.

Out of curiosity, why did you get the HDTV tuner card? Why not use the component video out of the settop box you have now? I'm thinking about using the HDTV cable box I have now, and connecting it to my monitor via the component video inputs. Is this not an option for you? Would using a tuner card be better?

I`m interested in 16:10 ratio LCD monitor for CAD/3d work, something like this fabulous 24" Dell 2405 or maybe 24" Samsung. Does anyone here using Rhino, Solidworks, Artcam, other CAD/CAM on Dell 2405 widescreen monitor? Would like to know of any possible problems (the wide aspect ratio might create some distortion with certain CAD/CAM applications..)

Before you got your card, how were you viewing HDTV? Did you have a television that had a built in HDTV tuner?
