Heh, ordered online last night for in-store pickup. I stopped by this afternoon to pick it up and they could not find it. Surprise! They probably didn't pick it this morning and it was sold or an employee got it. The assistant manager who helped me offered to get it from another store with stock and have it shipped to them for me to pick up later in the week. I guess I'll see what happens. Sounds like it's a pricing error and they will cancel it on me.

All Austin stores sold out. 2 left at the San Marcos store. I talked to the manager at the Sunset Valley store at length about this sale. As with other products, I've found this one is listed differently depending on store. Most are probably Manual Replenish, but some are "non-pog-replenish" which effectively means it won't be carried anymore so no more should be ordered. I doubt any store in the country will order more, but I could check the warehouses tommorow. I only know of a couple in my area, but it'd be interesting to see if they have any.

Not really. You can get that same cartridge for $53 shipped from Newegg. It is rated for 2000 pages. Or you can spend $90 and get a cartridge rated for 5000 sheets.

Lower yield cartridge for $52.99 shipped.

Picked up the 2851DN and 600N (for $129) at my local OD. Thinking about returning the 600N after reading some of the reviews on it at Amazon, besides the fact that it's a 45# monster. The 2851DN seems to have pretty decent reviews, although the extended service plan definitely seems to be worth it should you get a bum printer.

Just wanted to thank the op for posting this.

The first store I went to yesterday had just sold their last unit but they called a nearby store and requested that they hold one for me. I picked it up 20 minutes later.

I installed the printer on our home network last night and it works as advertised. Very fast and I love the duplex mode. The printer is not the most visually appealing but I will take performance/price over aesthetics.

It has not been changed. I bought one myself this morning, JUST after a customer came in and bought two. In fact, I bought the one we got in todays shipment. So some stores may get more today or tommorow.

2850 says the SKU is invalid.

2691 has 1.

I went by yesterday and found two tickets but the clerk said nothing in the store except a display model <open box>. Can I ask them for rain check?

My stores are 291, 446, and 185.

Me really. It would take much more time if every one called each store and took up associates time.

No, you won't get a raincheck with this. Don't bother asking.
