I'm not sure, but I remember seeing the toner cartridge for 59.99 at OD, which seems reasonable. The toner cartridge for my other laser a ML-2010 was something like $75~

I actually don't. Lately, it has been tough sneaking around to check the inventory system. Well, its not so much sneaking when I am at the terminal, but I use one of our display computers to check AT, so it looks odd since I go back and forth sometimes....

But occasionally our store is pretty dead, sure.

Set it up last night. Not exactly smooth to get the paper drawer open as it drags on top of whatever surface you have it on.

Currently I have it on top of my Antec solo which I will have to move so that it doesn't scratch the glossy surface.

Fast copy but loud warm up and print.

Great deal though for the price considering the copy is very crisp. In addition it wasnt as hot as I was expecting. It will probably get much hotter depending upon the number of pages you are printing.

At any rate, it seems like most of the stores are out by now. Check on your own now, I am done with it. I won't be working again till next sunday anyhow.

Went to local OD where I picked up a printer and when I complained about the cost of the toner the tech said that they were on clearance for $41.00. Bought the two they had. He said that the printer, being clearanced, was the only unit that used the toner and they were clearaing the toner also. I checked at another OD and the price was $59.00. When asked, the manager said that the OD I got the $41.00 toner never moved any so that is why they clearnced them. So YMMV -- Pays to ask.

Thanks. I'll be leaving OD at the end of July anyway. Only a year left in school and its going to get a lot harder.

Thanks ex! (I vote thread of the year!) and screw the management. You got a lot of people into their store who probably bought toner and other things while they were they checking out....NOT!

Found two of the printers today......and located 3 more. And, unbelievably, found two toner replacement cartridges for $20.01 each on clearance, on their second markdown....they'd already been marked down to $40.01 but neither sold.

in for 2, plus i got a 5 port linksystem switch for $25 and used an officemax 20 off 100 coupon

a nice plus is that samsung has awesome CUPS support (linux/unix printing FYI) and this print works awesome with my ubuntu desktop.
