Nasa Wants Volunteers To Sleep For A Month
Nasa, the US space agency, is currently seeking people who will be willing to lie in a bed for a month and get paid $11 a hour for it.
They want to see what long term lying does to the body when the persons head is 6° lower than their feet, which is about how they would be in a space craft. Nasa will be looking into physiological changes in the peoples bodies including "cardiovascular deconditioning, muscle atrophy, decreased bone strength, and shifts in fluid and electrolyte balance."
30(days) x 24(hours) x $11 = $7920 for doing nothing!!!
