<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">Some may consider this lame, but I picked up a half a dozen WD 80GB drives over the course of the year, all with fat rebates ($50-$100) and a BVG to the lowest pricewatch price I could find. Seems like I paid almost zero for most of them . . . Never more than $.33/GB!
The $99 AR Geforce4 Ti200 64MB at BB a couple of months ago was also sweet (And yes, this was a PNY 64MB version for $129-$30 rebate. It was an unadvertised deal at Best Buy).
I also picked up a half dozen CDRW drives of various speed, never paying more than $30 AR (usually $20 AR).
The Compaq FS740 17" monitor for $50 AR with the Compaq Spring Rebate Deal. Not the best monitor, but gave it away as a gift and the recipient thinks I am the most generous guy on Earth!
In February, scored two Lexar 12X CF cards for $39 each AR and PM (not a hot price now, but great for my Minolta Dimage 5, whiched I purchased from Amazon in February and quickly did a BVG for $246).
Plus I picked up a few WinXP Pro for under $50 each (thank you Sunshine Marketing and Microsoft).
Quite a few sticks of Kingston 256MB PC133 for $0-$10 AR (for upgrading relatives PC's).
Don't forget the NSW 2003 for $0 AR from Amazon.
The Sony DRU500A for $253+tax is still feeling pretty good.
Pinnacle Studio Version 8 for $10 AR from Outpost was a great deal.
How about 10 Memorex DVD+RW discs for $8 on Black Friday AR and BVG?
My brother-in-law gets a Maxtor 30GB 7200 RPM drive for Christmas courtesy of Microcenter ($30AR). Might have been able to do better but time was of the essense.
Last, but not least, I appreciated the shipped price of $.67 each for Dlink 10/100 NIC's from Dell. I only ordered a half dozen, wasn't too greedy. I see that some people got them even cheaper! Have you no shame?
The list goes on and on.
The best deal I got for the whole year was maxing out my Amex Gold BVG at $1000! Can't wait for the new year to start.
All in all, a pretty good year! Keep up the good work.
