Deal on 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 AGP Card (Aargh..I think it's over.)

I just checked back and it no longer appears that they have the promotion on their main page. That's very odd, considering when I ordered, it was around 3 or 4pm and the promotion was up and everything worked.

The deal would have made the card $65.09 on the site and $35.09 when it was all said and done.. The oddest part about it was that it said it would be ending July 31st, so someone must have changed that from the previous promotion (which ended the last day of June). So, either they're reworking stuff or they figured it wasn't worth it to keep the promotion going (even though it's been around since May).

Sorry for anyone who tried to order but couldn't..I didn't realize it was actually down until now (9:09pm). Oh well.

If you have any VA dollars left, you might be able to better this deal. The board is the same price at VA, (89.95), and if you go through Citiplaza.com , you get free shipping at Va.com. I applied 35 of Va dollars, so my order shipped is $55.00. Less my $30 rebate, final cost is $25.00. Not too bad.

Nope..no VA dollars Never got in on it..although I think I heard of it. I actually found AnandTech sometime in late '98, but forgot the address and didn't find it again until late '99

I think at that time I was a bit worried VA might not honor it (hadn't ordered anything online before that)..now I have something coming to my house every week!

Anyway, good deal for me w/ lack of Value America dollars!

I'm sure there is..just a matter of what you want and if they have it (as always). I checked to see if they had a Celeron II..but they didn't. Those were really the only things I was currently looking for.

I think you'd be able to pick up a few regular intellieye intellimice for $25 ($12.50 apiece). They also have the v3 3000 for $117..but I'd rather be able to replace my banshee for nothing and have something a bit better, rather than putting money out right now (esp since 3d cards are going to continue to drop as the geforce2 mx is released).

Yep. I'm not a hardcore gamer..I like playing 3d games and all, but I'm not going to spend $300 on the newest video card so I can get 80fps. $35 sounds much better

It should show the $25 off right away (as soon as you hit the checkout button and can review the items in your order..same page you enter your CC number on I think).
