$10 drops? That's like nothing on something that costs $1600 to begin with. Not a hot deal.

Lowest is $1665, which combined with Pointclick 10% (-$166) and the Visa $25 offer brings it down to $1474.

If you check out Pricegrabber, you'll see this notebook for $1699 and up, with OnVia being the first reputable dealer listed, and their price is $1799.

I'd say that saving $300 is a hot deal. Don't really need one, but thanks for the post !

thanks for asking, I did as a matter of fact. the Vaio 540 is also in its lowest tier now, and you have through the weekend to jump on it (unless it closes early)

Thanks for the info on the Pointclick monthly maximum. I forgot about the $100 max per month. It's still a decent deal if you're in the market for this particular laptop.
