Wow, this one deserves a bump. I found two restaurants about 30-40 minutes from me that are $10 for $25 gift certificates!

Surprisingly it doesn't seem too useful for us ATL folk, but there was a deal or two. BUMP it up!

You really missed out...last month there was a coupon that expired that gave you an extra 60% off on top of the already great deal. I bought 3 $25 off coupons for $9 to our fav. little Italian place by my house.!!

Now that was a deal!!
Try doing a search online for coupons...there might be some out there still, but i doubt it

Yeah I got in on the last deal. Got 3 $25 GC for Memphis BBQ for $9.00 Already used one and will go this weekend to use up another one

eBay usually has these too... pretty good deals if you like to eat at the stores they have GC's for....

Some appear to be good deals, others aren't....

Sushi place.... $10 for a $25 gift certifcate.

Restrictions:
2 or more in party
%18 gratituity calculated before coupon
$40 mininium purchase
1 certificate/coupon per customer/party per month.


So in this case it's kinda a 2-for-1 coupon.

$40 + $7.2 (%18grat) - $15 savings of coupon + $3.50 tax = $35.70 for meal.

Would be smokiing if I could apply two.....

FYI: Make sure you read ALL the conditions and requirements. Sometimes they require 4 people in the party, cash payment, a minimum bill amount, etc. and sometimes alcohol is excluded, or there are certain days of the weeks or times that you can use these. They can definitely be a great deal, as long as you read the terms and conditions FIRST.....

ex. Valid for party of 4 more with minimum 4 entrees excluding Sat and Holidays. And this is for a $25 GC, so basically you are getting $15 off your 4 entrees and can't go on Saturdays....

I'm not sure how you meant this particular seller but when searching for an ebay member, "restaurant.com" I found only three entries for their sales. Not much selection there. In addition, they are not exactly a "stellar seller". They average about one disgruntled customer/negative review a day; 47 in the last month, 524 in the past 6 months and 1135 in the past 12 months. Yes, when compared with the total volume they sell, it works out to a 98.7% approval rating. However, that's just way too many pissed off people for me to trust that seller.

Going back to the original post in this thread, I was able to find one restaurant reasonably near and the coupon was essentially a two-for-one. Nice.

Hey, a fellow Memphis FWer. yeah I was looking at the Neely's GC as well, though the Silky O'Sullivan's $25 GC for $10 looks tempting, too... (I'm not sure on their BBQ, however)
