I just ordered 2 sticks of the 512 for my upcoming Shuttle system. I won't be able to test it for a little while though since I have yet to order said system.

Crucial Ram has LIFETIME warranty. Which for a PC, is about 5 years I believe True Samsung does also, and maybe Mushkin/Corsiar?

Fair enough. I guess since I rarely run the same components for more than 1-2 years I'm not so concerned with long-life warranties. Besides, I have enough trouble getting stuff replaced that IS under warranty.

Twinmos is supposed to be comparable to corsair, so twinmos is probably in a totally different league than this stuff I'm thinking, but can't be sure about it until people start getting their sticks. I think I may get mine tomorrow or monday.

Some of you probably remember a program called "CTspd" created by the german magazine c't that would read the SPD on SDRAM chips to tell the manuf data, default speed settings, etc. Unfortunately it doesn't work with DDR.

The other day I read about a recent shareware program called CPUcool, that among it's many features, is said to read the SPD data on DDR's. Give it a try and let us know what it says.
