She is pretty cute, except for the bug eyed sunglasses. Big sunglasses are the new paper bag... what will it be next year? Hocky masks?
TCU vs BAMA would be a better game than TX vs BAMA. BAMA would beat the crap out of TX. TCU can score.
Yeah but I can't believe Nebraska and the kick out of bounds followed up with a horse collar tackle penalty. Dumb dumb dumb.
I'm just speechless.
First Auburn lays down for Alabama, and now Nebraska serves it up on a platter for Texas.
Lots of tinfoil hat fodder out there.

I hope Texas stomps Alabama, I hate the SEC
yea...nebraska gave it away. freaking just keep the ball in bounds....and the horse collar so obvious!! wtf
It's true. I can just hear more of the "Well, championship teams find ways to win - that's why they're winners" lines but come on, Auburn and Nebraska just handed those games away. I'm not a tinfoil guy, but it's getting ridiculous. Hell, look at that Arkansas/Florida game.
see, what i hate about the horsecollar tackle, is that you reach out for a shirt, shoulder, anything, and as soon as your hand hits something, it grabs, and you start slowing... its not exactly easy just to let go...
Auburn didn't hand the game away. They made Bama work to get the points back to catch up and then later take the lead in the 4th quarter. There wasn't anything close to the back to back dumb plays of the kick out of bounds and horse collar tackle that set Texas up for the field goal.
Yes, but they have to regulate it somehow, some serious damage results from tackles like that.
This just in.. football is a contact sport. I understand that this kind of tackle is bad, but really, it heavily limits the ability to tackle from behind.
I understand this, I played and was injured (not a horse collar tackle or anything) and couldn't play anymore. It's part of the game. It's just a dangerous way to bring someone down. Go for jersey or catch up

so redesign the pads so that when a hand grasps on the back of a pad, it snaps out, and then back in when the hand lets go... cant be difficult...

I played as well, and you know the rule "never shirt tackle." Catching up isn't always an option for some of us slower defensive linemen.
I'm trying to imagine what you said, but it doesn't make sense. If it pulls outward when they grab hold (but doesn't completely detach), it turns into a fucking handle to drag them to the ground.
you grab it, the selected section, probably about 8-10" of height, and some needed width... you grab it, as you go to pull backwards, the area will "break away" like a rim... and you will no longer be able to hold on due to the sudden change in needed grip, and direction... you are already pulling away/down on that tackle, so you pretty much pull your own hand off of the pad... i need to go submit a patent...

When a rim breaks away, I don't suddenly lose grip of it.
