Here is how this works. As long as you have reciepts for all your old purchases you simply need to bring in the reciept to the store. This will work at a lot of nice clothing stores. They will give you credit on your card or cash for the difference between the price you purchased clothes at and the sale price. Just ask a cashier to refund the difference for you!!!!


A friend of mine did this at Talbotts and she got 100 dollars back off of a 300 dollar purchase! If you guys have saved reciepts, then this is the deal for you!!!!



(you would have to have bought a lot of clothes to get 100 dollars back, but i just wanted people to look )

Sorry man...this will not work. If you're talking about price adjustments, they're only valid within 14 days of the purchase. No hot deal here...move on folks. I guess you can say Lock this.

I used to work there, and I'm positive that they won't let you do price adjustments after 14 days. They've also changed most of their return policies because customers were taking advantage of it...

well, Banana Republic here always told me only 14 days for price adjustment How the hell they gonna make money if everything bought originally gets refunded to $9.99 a piece of something That's okay, I only buy stuff on sales anyways

zlooop we still need some title work here.The only chance someone has of making a hundred is if they spent over 300 to start with...AND if all they bought is now on sale for 33% off.Plus most places limit the time for returns,im certain that they also limit the time for price adjusting as others here stated.Howabout get money back thru talbotts price adjustments....

Unless I'm mistaken, some states, including NY, have laws which allow for customers to return merchandise within a certain number of days for an adjustment in price. While I don't know the specific details, I've always been led to believe this is true. I think that the phrase "excludes prior purchases" is there for that reason in some advertising. So, I don't think this is a bad deal, but definitely a YMMV deal.
