I'd take the DFI AK74.
It's cheap (don't know in Dollar$ though) - the cheapest available in germany at the time I looked, anyway.
It's on the AMD recommended list (although that doesn't have to mean anything. There's even a board made by PCChips in there *puke*)
I owned it for about three days, before i exchanged it for a Asus A7V. I did so purely because I wanted to overclock, and the DFI has no multiplier switches. You can set the FSB in single Mhz steps, though.
As far as I can say, it's reliable and easy to set up.
