Decent whisky/bourbon that won't break the bank?

I bought a 1.75L bottle for less than $30. That's pretty damn cheap.

I prefer Maker's Mark. I still need to try Knob Creek.
I like Wild Turkey but if I drink too much I have to fight everybody in the room.

Pendleton is kinda misleading. It's actually a Canadian whiskey that's bottled in Oregon.

Black Velvet 8 Yr Reserve (they keep putting it on sale and I can't pass up cheap)

Though to be completely honest I wasn't overly impressed with the beer and liquor selection, but the wine.... dear god... a thing of beauty.

Seagram's 7 is my go to for cheap whiskey.

Let's be clear that whiskey is not whisky. The Canadians, Scots and Japanese make Whisky, everybody else (US, Ireland) makes Whiskey.

It's the same word, from the exact same origin, the only difference is that in some places they have dropped the "e".
